Etheridge makes first-team debut for Fulham in draw

Philippine national men’s football team goalkeeper Neil Etheridge made his first-team debut for English side Fulham Wednesday (Thursday in Manila), starting in the squad’s 2-2 draw with Danish club Odense BK in their Europa League encounter.

The 21-year-old Etheridge got the call after Fulham’s first-choice keeper Mark Schwarzer suffered a neck injury in an English Premier League match against Swansea on December 10. Schwarzer is expected to be out for four to six weeks.
